BGSR welcomes Elle Murray – final year OT student from ECU.
Elle is going to be involved with developing Manual Handling training and safe work skills for our support workers over her practicum.
A big thank you to Tanya Barrett from Safety Alert, who has been working with BGSR over the last few months – developing our OSH Inductions and Tanya has kindly offered to supervise Elle and assist her with the project she is working on.
We really appreciate the work of both ladies in improving our staff training and safety in order to provide the best perth disability services.

BGSR recently completed a fun packed getaway with five travellers to the Gold Coast.
They visited lots of tourists spots including Australia Zoo. While there the adventurous group tried the delights of various cuisines and markets, while shopping was enjoyed on the coast and in the city of Brisbane by one and all.
Big thanks to Karen, Phil, Greg, Judy, Tina and Michaela for making it a great holiday.
By popular request we are already planning for the next trip.

BGSR takes to the skies
A group of 40 people from BGSR took joy flights from Jandakot to Freo and Perth today. Everyone had a fabulous time, thanks to Dave Grimes and his terrific staff at Heliwest.
Most of the flyers wanted a second trip so we would love to take off again next year.

Late in 2013, Disability Services Commission announced the outsourcing of many of their Accommodation Services.
