what makes
us different?

As an NDIS-registered provider with over 16 years’ experience providing disability supports, Space For Life has honed a vision of the impact we make on our participants’ lives.

Our purpose, vision, and values begin with the employee experience and flow through to the everyday interactions that occur within our homes. Every decision we make is empowered by these principles.

our purpose

Our homes are more than just a place to live, they are a place to build a life.

We make the space for independence and freedom to grow, through fostering cooperation and ally-ship between participants, their families, support workers, and coordinators. Because when home is a place of comfort, goals become easier to chase.

our values

When you begin your journey with BGSR, you’re entering a diverse and culturally vibrant organisation. It’s a support system run by a team of lifelong learners, whose culture of appreciation and recognition extends to participants and whose investment in the journey of their participants is unmatched.

We understand participant needs can be complex, that getting the dynamic right in shared accommodation is crucial, and that the need for great communication never stops. That’s why our team train to stay ahead of the curve, treat every onboarding with the utmost care, and constantly scrutinise our processes to ensure a people-centred approach.

These four culture pillars help us facilitate independence, inclusion, and community.

Do right

We act with integrity and respect; taking ownership and accountability for our actions.

Stronger together

We value team, inclusion, diversity, and go out of our way to support each other and collaborate.

Drive & energy

We are passionate and enthusiastic about what we do and the difference we can make in our worlds.

Growth mindset

We are committed to best practice and are continuously looking for ways to better ourselves and BGSR.

our vision

We have shaped our vision into three foundational outcomes: independence, inclusion, and community. And following through on these means looking at every decision through this lens, focusing on participants experiencing growing independence, inclusive environments, and opportunities to engage with the community. Our vision aims to move our participants towards finding their place in the world and building a fulfilling life.
